One of our Clients is looking for Head of Maintenance for the following role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
·          Mechanical engineering graduate with 10 to 15 years of experience.
·          Exposure to Foods industry. (Edible oil preferable)
·          Should be heading maintenance for minimum 4 years.
·          Working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation.
Should have worked/involved in Projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·          Responsible for the uptime of all plant & machinery in the Factory.
·          Encompassing all equipment's and structures covering all branches of engineering i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics and Chemical.
·          Organize maintenance teams with requisite skills for breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and execution of engineering projects in the factory.
·          To ensure uptime of plant and machinery and uninterrupted availability of production capacities, plan and execute Preventive Maintenance Program & Schedule.
·          In consultation with Production determine lay-out, line-balancing needs for quality, productivity and efficiency improvements.
·          Ensure Utilities like Boilers, Condensers, Generators and Pressure Vessels deliver rated efficiencies and the cost and supply of consumables are ensured.
·          Plan optimum inventory levels of spare parts and ensure their storage and accounting. Develop reliable vendors for spare parts and maintenance services.
·          Ensure accidents are thoroughly investigated, appropriate engineering solutions to prevent accidents are designed and implemented and safety measures are institutionalized.
·          Periodically review performance of Maintenance Executives and Technicians with the objective of improving performance and building greater result orientation.
·          Train and develop Maintenance Executives and Technicians for improved performance and for succession by activating an agreed upon career plan in collaboration with Unit HR.
