Executive BSS Billing (Wi-Tribe - Islamabad)

Role Purpose:
Perform Billing FCAPS related Operations.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Responsible to support day to day telecoms billing operations.
  • Should have hands-on experience of rating, billing, prepaid & post paid operations.
  • Knowledge of CRM, Mediation and Interconnect is must.
  • Extensive experience of PL/SQL is required.
  • Software development background is an additional advantage.
  • Day to day technical & commercial evaluations and maintaineance of quality of service.
  • Proactive in delivering as per customer/user requirements.
  • Ensure SLA to customers for services being offered.
  • Ensure high availability of IT systems/applications - 99.9%.
  • Responsible for FCAPS of Billing System; all billing cycles' delivery and requirements and resolving billing-related operational issues as they arise and also act as the day-to-day contact for key billing stakeholders and vendors.
  • Responsible for Billing, Invoicing, Revenue Assurance processes and activities.
  • Data Integrity, backup, warehousing.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years work experience.
  • BSC/MSC/BIT/MIT.
Competencies:
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL is must.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with CRM, subscriber, whole sale interconnect billing systems.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of AAA, online/offline charging, RADIUS, DIAMETER protocols.
  • He/she should have experience on Telecom Billing.
  • Should have extensive knowledge of implementing and managing the Billing applications.
  • Familiarity with open source B/OSS platforms.
  • Knowledge of eTOM (NGOSS) framework.
  • Development and scripting skills, preferably experience in java/php, shell/perl scripting.
  • Familiar, UNIX environments (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX) preferably hands on experience.
