2. Job content
Job purpose: To assist the senior buyer in successful implementation of the buying & merchandising strategy.

4. Key responsibilities & measurement
Key Tasks & KPI
o Prepare price comparisons to assist in the buyers work.
o Assist in the buyer in the process of determination and change in the purchase and sale prices.
o Visit, Evaluate and select the adequate suppliers and assist the buyer in the decision of the terms and condition.
o Determine and continuously maintain the ideal assortment for the given area, in terms of turnover, profit and stock level.
o To conduct market analysis
o To keep the record of the changes in articles and prepare action plans.
5. Working relationships
Internal: o heads of (especially buying, operations), other heads in the local head office
External: o Supplier, Market
