| Overview | Primarily responsible for SAP Netweaver systems availability to business, smooth operations, users management & support, systems monitoring, optimization and troubleshooting. |
| Responsibilities | - Performs SAP user administration and authorizations, printer setup (Daily, Weekly and monthly) - Installs and trouble shoot SAP Systems - Set up of system according to the requirements of business blue print - SAP Security & Authorization Administration, monitor and verification UAM for requested users - Implements SAP service packages and kernel updates - Performs regular backups and restores - Tune the SAP System for optimal performance - Coordinates third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoots problems with users and application administrators - Develops uniform procedures for non-stop operations - Coordination with Business/ Functional users, external & internal auditors for the system desired requirements - SAP development team management for implementation of existing and new functionalities - Handling Transports in three tier system landscape. - Database / Application servers configuration and performance monitoring. |
| Requirements | • Education: Master degree in Computer Science/IT and Computer Engineering with certification in database preferred • Expertise: SAP Netweaver, Oracle Database, Software Development - Training: SAP training Oracle OCP IT operations KPIs : - 24x7x365 SAP System availability and support to Business Users Except Scheduled down times Routine Tasks. [Target 99% availability] - Synchronization and Verification of primary & secondary hosting sites after every three months - Effective user management, authorization security and control - Optimization and performance tuning of ERP Servers and storage - Data Backup and backup verification, review of policy after every three (3) months. - System and Data security assurance (System Security log) sharing with functional teams. - Daily monitoring, review and evaluation of System logs , table spaces ,mount points and other performance parameters - Support GM Data Center for migration of equipment to new location. |
