RCS has an immediate need for PDS Physical Electrical Designer in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6-9 month contract assignment in Charlotte, NC.

• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
• PDS Experience on heavy industrial projects
• 15+ years of experience in electrical design
Summary:
• Applicant must be familiar with NEC and IEEE standards.
• Experience in power plant design is required.
• Nuclear experience is preferred.
• Applicant must be capable of locating equipment in a 3D environment as well as design of raceways.
• Applicant should have familiarity with layout of electrical equipment and raceways.
• Must understand inter-discipline interfaces.
• Must be capable of directing the activities of other designers.
Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
• Applicant must have experience in CAD application. Intergraph PDS is preferred.
• Associate of Science degree or equivalent experience.
