- Fabricates cables and wire harnesses, using crimp tools, soldering equipment, etc. and performs simple testing to ensure circuitry. - Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as cleaning, wiring, stamping, and installation of parts and assemblies. Label making.- Runs cables between pieces of equipment utilizing drawings, including schematic diagrams. - Installs LAN, telephone, and power (Network Cabling) into buildings, structures, vehicles etc. Included are conduit, patching, racks and cabinets.
- Diploma/Degree Computer Science or related discipline- 3 years Experience with the installation and terminating of CAT5e, CAT6, Fiber (Multi & Single Mode) and Coaxial cable.- Highly effective at troubleshooting Layer 1 issues
