PROJECT (SUPPORT) ENGINEER
We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic people who have a professional, flexible and customer focused attitude.
Reporting to the Service Manager/ General Manager the position of Project Support Engineer is based in Bahrain with a requirement to visit customer sites, including overseas and offshore.
The position requires good written and spoken communication skills, an analytical approach to problem solving and the ability to prioritise and organise workload.
The role is varied and the successful applicant will be required to liaise with and work alongside project teams in order to evaluate and resolve problems. This will involve the configuration of PLC’s, Flow Computers and SCADA systems. Site work will include system health checks, upgrades, and investigation and rectification of system faults both hardware and software.
The ideal candidate should have > 5 years experience working in the petrochemical industry with a good understanding of the relevant flow measurement oil & gas standards. Multidiscipline experience, i.e. a ‘control’ engineer with both software and hardware design and debug experience is preferable.
A minimum of a Higher Certificate in Control engineering or related discipline is required.
