DEPUTY MANAGER - PURCHASE

Location: Lahore HQ
Experience: 10 yrs +
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead/manage the Purchase team.
• Forecast procurement needs.
• Prepare SOP and ensure implementation.
• Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials in a timely cost effective way while maintaining appropriate
quality standards and specifications.
• Receive purchase requisitions/estimates (for local and imported materials), approve and issue purchase orders within two
days (inform to seniors in case of any delay).
• Manage and evaluate the relationship/performance of vendors along-with exploring of new sources.
• Develop sound/clear purchasing strategies.
• Keep the inventory within the budgeted number of days/value for different categories.
• Finalization of price, terms, delivery time and quality standards of materials with vendors.
• Arrange materials according to required dates for smooth production process.
• Buy the best value: a combination of right quality at the best price/supplier service.
• Achieve high inventory turnover i.e. to meet materials requirement of production by keeping low stocks.
