Solution Manager - CU Pakistan-00023350 - Ericsson


Overall Purpose
Support and develop business based on existing solutions and services portfolio and proactively develop new end-to-end solutions in order to strengthen the offers. Propose and sell competitive customer solutions through a consultative project sales approach, focusing on customer needs, involving several product areas, services, and 3rd party products, etc., for one or multiple accounts.  Work with customers to develop, review, and propose/sell solutions, fostering relationships internally and externally that will further the competitive stance with the customer and in the marketplace for Multimedia Solutions, IMS and Systems Integration business (including Hosting).
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development Support:
  • Proactively develop new opportunities to drive Multimedia & Systems Integration business growth, innovation, and cost efficiency within area of expertise.
  • Act as the e2e solutions driver or CSR for bids where the majority is MM&SI content (also across SSP).
  • Work with BU Sales Support to help transfer competence to the KAMs.
  • Provide proactive sales support to KAMs to create mind-share with clients around Ericsson values.
  • Develop value proposition and sales material in support of launching new solutions and services.
  • Provide project sales leadership for opportunities to ensure timely, high-quality responses that address the following:
  • Comprehensive end-to-end [e2e] offering
  • Ericsson's end-to-end value proposition is cohesively positioned
  • Overall pricing and account strategy is consistent with the winning strategy
  • Support KAM with SOW definition/clarification.
  • Establish alignment with Delivery & Partnering & Sourcing & Project Office on delivery strategy. 
  • Work with delivery organization to forecast and develop competences to support future business.
  • Actively participate and contribute in customer negotiations and scoping.


  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years experience in the wireless telecommunications industry
  • Minimum 5 years Telecommunications Services experience
  • Sales, and/or Sales Support experience is preferred
  • Well-rounded solution and systems integration services knowledge
  • E2E solutions skill set
  • Specific / Detailed Technical Knowledge and ability to scope in the areas of:
  • Service Control Interaction Manager (SCIM)
  • Trigger Interaction Manager (TRIM)
  • Service Delivery Platforms
  • IP MultiMedia Subsystem (IMS)
  • Must possess a good understanding of what it takes to sell services
  • Must have strong communication and well-developed presentation skills
  • Team player with ability to work with people from various backgrounds
  • Must have good business acumen and strategic mindset
