We require a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The Job Description and required skills are as follow: Experience Must have 2 to 3 years work experience. Main Objectives The position has following main objectives Software Quality Assurance Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines: Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities The post has the following duties and responsibilities • Design, develop and implement comprehensive QA test plans and Test cases • Create test cases for functional, integration and performance testing as per requirement specifications • Review requirement specification documents and software design specification documents • Using User Interface, command line or scripts, test the functionality, and performance of functionality and features. • Manually execute test designs to find defects in the application and prioritize them. • Work both independently and as an integral member of a high performance team. • Assist the Team Lead in managing the Testing functions Additional Tasks • Provide third line support. Others • Undertake any other duties that might reasonably request from time to time. Skills • Experience developing and executing test suites • Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution. • Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration, regression, user interface automated testing • Experience testing web-based enterprise applications • Passion for quality assurance of end-user applications • Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels • Ability to solve problems creatively • Willingness and ability to create and adapt to new technologies • Strong knowledge of SDLC and the agile approach • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment • Ability to achieve set goals and deadlines • Ability to self-motivate and self-direct • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are the right candidate then send your CV at: zin.hr@zintechnologies.com Note: This is Lahore----Pakistan based job.
