Vacancy for a “Instructional Designer” Karachi, Pakistan


The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing a course. An IDer has to review the FTC and develop a plan on how the storyboarding should be done in LCMS and then implement it. Search, edit and develop different images (using Photoshop, illustrator) which must be relevant to the text. Design interactivities, in order to engage or interact with the student. Make the instruction document for the MM (multimedia) team regarding interactivity which should help them in the development process.  Make the audio document for the assigned course so that it can be recorded and uploaded in the course. Maintain constant interaction with the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities

The IDer will:
·         Work in collaboration with the Production team to create well organized, easy to understand and consistent web-based training using company styles and standards.
·         Work on the content management tool (LCMS).
·         Work with the team to develop storyboards by using the in-house application (LCMS).
·         Create and implement clean, effective, professional, visually appealing, and accessible user interfaces of online curriculum.

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Flash knowledge will be a plus.
  • Highly creative.
  • Should have good knowledge of web-based training.
