Position: Assistant Brand Manager
Responsibilities:
§ Assistant Brand manager is concerned with creating a lasting impression among consumers and improving product sales and market share by developing marketing strategies and their implementation.
§ Considerately oversee market trends and competitors’ foot prints while planning and executing marketing communication/brand activation accordingly to evocatively covey brand’s positioning to generate a favorable brand image.
§ Closely monitors and analyzes sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity.
§ Assists in developing and executing promotional initiatives to profitably increase consumption within budgeted parameters.
§ Assists in the identification and development of business building ideas and works with other business unit team members to execute the plans that meet investment criteria.
§ Coordinates product management and/or cost reduction projects with internal and external resources to achieve results (product development, production planning, trade promotion, sales, market research, consultants and advertising agencies).
§ Works with Below The Line (BTL) agencies to deliver exciting activation in the market to the consumers
§ Is responsible to manage large budgets in terms of spend and cost allocation (e.g. agency cost, sampling cost )
§ Manages the promotional investment budget and manages the promotional intensity of each market with the country contacts.
§ Develops and piefs BTL agencies on activation campaigns
§ Judges the creative submissions from the agencies and evaluates effectiveness
§ Is responsible for launch planning, implementation and evaluation of the innovation mix
