Oracle Applications Database Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Performs database administration and management activities in a safe, recoverable, and professional manner that ensures the optimal operation of all database environments.
- Designing, implementing, and monitoring database functionality to ensure a stable environment that supports business continuity
- Maintaining the production, test, and development database environments associated with the daily operations and support of the Oracle database administration
- Addressing Oracle EBS upgrade challenges and issues related to customization to ensure a smooth and successful transition upgrade
- Upholding enterprise policy guidelines and recommending new and improved guidelines to ensure compatibility and better service for end-users;
- Staying abreast of the most current release of Oracle, including compatibility issues with operating systems, third-party software and utilities.
- Assisting in the application and implementation of procedures for data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures, and data replication to ensure access to, and integrity of data sets
- Managing user security and access to databases to provide controlled access environment;
- Investigating, reviewing, installations, applying, cloning and testing all patches and bug fixes in the database environment as well as Oracle EBS
- Maintaining security according to best practices and generating security solutions that balance auditor requirements with user requirements and maintaining up-to-date plans for disaster recovery and fail over capabilities and testing as required.
- Well enough in overall Database administration, Oracle EBS Technical Administration, Oracle Business continuity (High Availability) for both DB & EBS and Advance security enablement.

Fusion Middleware Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, debug and support SOA and other fusion middleware applications such as OSB, OBIEE, and IDM in a multi-instance hosting environment
- Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in SOA/OSB systems including weblogic app servers, OHS web servers, and dehydration databases on RAC
- Debug and optimize resource adapters such as AQ, Database, FTP, File, etc in SOA/OSB architecture
- Complete understanding of the Fusion middleware 11g architecture for high availability
- Work with infrastructure team members (Network, NT and Unix Administrators) to build and deliver services in a stable and secure multi-instance hosting environment
- Assist with capacity planning, disaster recovery and load balancing activities in the hosting environment
- Troubleshoot deployment issues with SOA/OSB processes
- Perform various administrative tasks such as configuring SMTP, LDAP integration, and data source configuration
- Complete understanding of Weblogic administration
- Tune SOA/OSB systems for optimal performance
- Create and utilize patterns and frameworks as part of an overall software architecture blueprint
- Mentor others through project lifecycle on both technology and process
- Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
- Working experience in building out Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) is desired
- Working experience in Weblogic 10.x is highly desired
- Working experience with other fusion middleware products such as OBIEE, IDM is desired
- Working experience in a BPEL product is desired, candidates with Oracle BPEL Process manager or Oracle SOA Suite experience are highly desired
