Location: Karachi
JOB PURPOSE:
· Managing the sourcing for the materials and contract negotiations process. Financial responsibility in handling
the budget planning and reporting.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Responsible for leading and representing the corporate procurement processes and initiatives and ensure that the
department is aligned with all related programs
· Spearhead the development and implementation of the company’s short and long term strategies to focus on building
relationships with co-packers and suppliers
· Should have understanding of changes in foreign exchange implication to the portfolio
· Responsible for risk assessment and contingency plans to ensure continuity of supplies
· Managing the purchase department to ensure timely, cost effective material / services acquisition and procurement
contracts to meet customer expectations.
· Leading or supporting teams with global purchasing management to achieve shared initiatives in supplier rationalization,
pricing and quality.
· Creating ongoing performance indicators and targets with the ability to deliver and exceed them consistently.
· Developing and controlling budgets.
COMPETENCE REQUIRED:
· A university degree in engineering and / or MBA
· Minimum 5-7 years in procurement with a broad based experience in supply chain management preferably in
manufacturing environment
· Proficient in MS office
· Excellent communications skills
· Knowledge on inventory management with large number of SKU’s
· Experience in ERP’s desirable.
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Location: Bahrain
· Single Point accountability for the successful execution of the country’s Operations and authorized to represent the
company upto the approved financial limits,
· Ensure that the companies HSE and quality values are understood, upheld and implemented at all levels
· Prequalify with a max. number of clients, market the company in the country,
· prepare/submit business plans for approval and coordinate with GM-Business Development (HO) for marketing strategy
and market intelligence
· Preparation of proposals
· Full accountability of the resource management and their development
Requirement
· Graduate in Engineering
· 10-15 years experience, minimum 5 years in the same role and same country
