PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· Mechanical Engineer with good IT skills especially in AutoCAD, GIS software and Mining software possesses an exposure of 8 years at least.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manages, supervises and co-ordinates in close connection to the Project Executive and his Dty mine planning, geology, hydrology, geotechnics, surveying and examines data delivered by the consultants
· Work together with mechanical engineers to define the optimum equipment and procedures
· Work together with electrical engineers to define the optimum equipment and procedures
· Overview or even run a mine planning programme, preferable Surpac or similar
· Assist in preparing the cost amounts and the financial model
· Assist in defining the mine personnel and the skill necessary
· Co-ordinates and review the work for the mine development with the other department and involved engineers and consultant
· Advocates for the long-term operational plans and the exact follow up of all the steps
· Comes up with ideas of technical development, improvement and cost effectiveness for the production process following up
· Represent the company interest in negotiations with governmental agencies and outside companies incl. the correspondence
· Check with the team the budget and investment programme
· Participate in committees outside the company
· Assist in development of Invitation to Bids for EPC contract and for mining equipment purchase.
· Will be responsible to assist in development and Implementation of HSE policies and best practice during mine construction and operation phase
