The candidate is expected to be able to use consultative skills and business knowledge to support the functional requirements and processes and deliver timely solutions. The position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan with a potential to serve clients in various industries both locally and internationally.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and lead projects, mostly Islamabad-based project
- Implement strong Project Management principals across all projects
- Define project implementation approach for projects
- Design and manage the development of project deliverables and reports
- Mentor team members
- Manage multiple projects, tasks and/or business development effort
- Provide client facing support including, but not limited to, Project Management Office liaison, leading focus group sessions, leadership interviews, etc
- Lead/Support Business Development efforts which include, but not limited to, understanding client requirements, designing proposed solutions and implementation approach and conducting client demonstration. Support the hiring of the Islamabad-based resources. Responsible for the on-boarding of new Islamabad-based resources
- Should have at least 16 years of education preferably from a recognized foreign university, LUMS or IBA. MBA and/or Consulting background candidates preferred.
- PMP certified is a plus
- At least 8 years of experience in consulting, project management, change management, and team leadership.
- Foreign experience is a plus.
- Human Resource Management (HRM) experience is a plus.
- Information Technology/Software Engineering experience is preferred.
- Should be proactive, organized and self motivated
- Outstanding communication, presentation and problem solving skills. Strong English communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, tasks and projects
- Strong MS Office skills
- Willing to travel
