Growing Technology Company is looking for a senior networking engineer with solid knowledge and experience of deployment of Citrix XennApp application Microsoft Terminal Services.
Engineer must be proficient in Server 2003, 2008, Standard, Enterprise and SBS. Engineer will also be working with end users support XP and Windows 7. Must have Cisco experience and be versed in problem solving.
The position is responsible for supporting servers, networking equipment, desktops, and end-user applications both on-site and remotely across a VPN.
Responsibilities Include:
• Desktop/User support, including software training and on-demand troubleshooting.
• Installing/Maintaining Networking equipment: routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and VPN.
• Data backup/recovery.
• Network account/security maintenance.
• Support for other locations and remote VPN users.
• Working with hardware/software vendors and negotiating IT purchases.
• Responding to occasional off-hours technical issues.
• Maintaining IT documentation/Notes/procedure guides.
