One of our Clients is looking for Head of Industrial Relations for the following role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
·         Master in Legal and Industrial Laws with 12-15 years at least.
·         A track record of delivery in the areas of planning and delivering of employee relations initiatives. 
·         Demonstrable experience of managing contentious people issues effectively together with a high level of emotional intelligence and strong inter-personal and communication skills.
·         Experience of managing and developing a team.
·         Able to demonstrate up-to-date training and experience in employment law.
·         Capability to work at both a strategic and operational level
·         Will be an effective problem solver with the organisational skills and ability to make things happen.
·         Positive self starter, flexible, results orientated, accurate and attentive to detail. 
·         Fluent in Regional Languages is extremely desirable.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Responsible for creating a fair, respectful, diverse and high performance culture enabling people to contribute their best.
·         Develop, deliver and maintain a business focused employee relations strategy.
·         Lead on the employee relations aspects of proposed changes to organization structure and employment levels and contracts which are needed to be supported.
·         Contribute to the strategic development of the Human Resource function by developing a progressive, business focused employee relations strategy that meets the current and future needs of the organization. 
·         Identify and implement positive employee relations programmes, in consultation with the relevant stakeholder groups, that will lead to a more efficient and motivated workforce.
·         Provide responsive and high quality support, training and advice to all parts of the business including senior managers to ensure the appropriate management of all employee relations issues including in particular change management, grievances, poor performance
·         and disciplinary action.
·         Provide advice and guidance on all the ER aspects of pay and reward projects, changes to pay related terms and conditions of employment, pay reviews and their implementation.
·         Ensure company policies and processes are current, conform to employment legislation and, where appropriate, are coherent with other government departments’ practices.
