| Job Description | |
| Education | · B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering · Specialization in Embedded Systems will be preferred |
| Experience | · 4 to 5 years of relevant experience |
| Major Duties | · Develop hardware dependent low level services for Nucleus Kernel · Development of device drivers on Reference Boards/Virtual platforms · Resolve Integration issues at device driver level · Technical Support to device driver customers |
| Required Skill Set | · Proficiency in C and Computer Architecture · Assembly language experience in at least one of the following instruction sets: ARM, MIPS, X86, PPC · Excellent Operating System Concepts · Familiar with software stacks, protocols, device drivers and system integration · Excellent communication skills both written and verbal · Ability to adhere to scheduled and team-agreed timelines · Quick learner and able to work without close direction · Strong analytical problem solving ability |
| Desired Skill Set | · Device Driver programming experience · Good understanding of electronic hardware (reading schematics and component data sheets, used logic Analyzers and Oscilloscope) · Used Nucleus OS, Linux, Symbian, or Windows CE · Knowledge of Software Engineering Best Practices · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills · Good technical writing/documentation skills |
