DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Job Description A database administrator (DBA) is responsible for the planning, maintenance and development of a database. The database approach incorporates the following principles:
· Data remains consistent across the database
· Data is clearly defined
· Users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs
· There is provision for data security and recovery control(all data is retrievable in an emergency)
Certifications: OCP DBA (Preferably 10g )

Qualifications BSC Computer Science (4 years) / BSCS (4 years), BSC Electrical Engineering, BSc Electronic Engineering. MCS(2years), MSc Computer Science, MIT
Certifications: Cisco, Microsoft, Linux.
Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience of Oracle, MS SQL on Solaris/Windows/Linux. Must also know how to document various phases of system development with respect to database normalization.
Knowledge of Data Warehousing & is its application is essential
