Job Description:

-Software analysis, design, development, and support activities in conformance to the development standards.
-Execute various RnD activities related to network security.
-Time estimation for tasks with respect to size and effort.
-Ability to conduct analysis and design activities on multiple tasks.
-Analyze network traffic to identify malicious contents.
-Write signatures using snort rule language.
-Technical content writing.
-Work in an agile environment with changing requirements and tough deadlines.
-Other responsibilities assigned by
manager.
Skills Required:
------------ ----
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering .
- 1+ years of development experience with C/C++. Fresh graduates may also apply.
- Good programming and problem solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose/debug/ profile and optimize code.
- Ability to turn concepts into well-authored code.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking. Knowledge of various network protocols such as IRC, HTTP, FTP, TFTP etc would be a plus.
- Knowledge of snort, its configuration and signature writing would be a huge plus.
- Experience with languages like Perl or regular expression writing is highly desirable but not necessary.
