· Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management/Business Management. A Post Graduate Degree would be an advantage.
· Must have 5+ years of overall generalist experience in HR and experience in IT industry is an advantage.
· Ability to manage all HR functions in a software development organization
· Must be able to understand and develop effective HR strategies while understanding the implications from a culture, business success, company practice and legal standpoint.
· Must have or be able to develop a strong understanding of the company’s worldwide business strategies and HR practices.
· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills including confidentiality, interpersonal skills, presentation skills and an ability to use a variety of communications tools.
· Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, especially managers, and other key decisions makers.
· Must have excellent team member and partnering skills
· Additional skill requirements include flexibility, leadership and the ability to effectively collect, manage and use data.
· Must be willing to work at a strategic as well as hand-on level.
