PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
· Bachelor’s Degree in Administration from a recognized university or college with minimum of three years experience in Postgraduate Medical Education or Academic setting – Essential

· Develops and coordinates new employee orientation..
· Coordinates development of preceptorship program for new employee orientation.
· Participates in the interview process and provides input for hiring decisions in collaboration with the interview committee.
· Identifies and revises all continuing education requirements to maintain compliance with all accrediting, regulating, and credentialing agencies in conjunction with the medical manager(s), medical director(s), and Regional Medical Services Director.
· Assists in the development and provision of annual skills competency training, protocol testing, initial training for new medical equipment and/or procedures, and maintains records of all.
· Approves and coordinates required external training as mandated by host hospitals or regulating agencies.
· Monitors continuing education compliance to include certifications, licensure, annual skills and clinical requirements, Reviews with Area medical management at least quarterly to insure continued compliance by medical crewmembers.
· Coordinates initial and annual recurrent aviation, safety, and survival training for specialty team members.
· Assists in implementing and enforcing medical standards in collaboration with Area Medical Manager(s), Medical Director(s), and Regional Medical Services Director.
· Assists in the coordination and development of all internal and outreach educational activities in compliance with state regulating agencies to maintain provider status for continuing education credits for EMS and Nursing.
· Oversees Ride-Along program; maintains policies related to the program and revises as needed to meet program needs, in conjunction with the Medical Base Supervisor (s), Medical Manager, Medical Director(s), and Area Managers.
· Coordinates all clinical research data collection, acts as liaison for external research activities, and identifies potential sources of grant funding for research following Air Methods CBS Medical Standards.
· Other duties as assigned.
