Research Analysts

Qualification:

• Graduation in Economics/Business Administration
• Masters in Economics/Business Administration (preferred)
• CFA (preferred)

Experience: 2-4 years post qualification (preferably with financial institution)

Profile Requirements:

• Excellent command on written and spoken English, Complete knowledge of the spread sheets and financial modeling.
• Ability to Liaison with contacts in listed companies, brokerage houses, Research Analysts and People at Sales Desk. Analytical and strong judgmental qualities with independent thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research analysis – Economic Forecast reports, equity valuations and sector summaries specific buy/sell recommendations prepared for the Company’s Investment Management.
• To liaison with external research sources in order to stay abreast with latest developments on both macro as well as micro investment environment.
• Support the Head of Research on various forms, e.g. MUFAP, SBP, SECP.
• Assisting the relevant departments in all aspects of the production of corporate communications, publications and presentation materials
• Support the Head of Research in development of Risk Management Tools and administration of the development of this function.
• To develop, produce and maintain Performance Measurement, Comparison and Attribution Reports on a regular basis
