Degree(s)/Major(s): Graduation or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Certification(s): Software Quality and Test Engineer
Experience Required: Minimum one year experience in analysis, planning, development, execution and closure of testing with reporting, result analysis and verification as per testing standards and practices.
Sound knowledge and understanding of quality assurance methodologies and practices, SDLC/PDLC processes and standards including designing of business workflows and logic, release management, build versioning, testing, bug identification and fixing.
Sound knowledge and experience of object oriented analysis and design including .NET 3.5/4, ASP.NET, C#, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, ADO.NET, Web Services, XML, database design and administration including Oracle PL/SQL, data structures, algorithms, coding, and standard testing techniques.
Must be positive with a can-do attitude, a quick learner, an effective communicator and a self-starter who take creative approaches to solving challenging problems and meeting tight deadlines.
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Good coding skills in .NET 3.5/4, ASP.NET, C#, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, ADO.NET, Web Services, XML, database design and administration including Oracle PL/SQL, data structures, algorithms, coding, and standard testing techniques.
Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills.
Passion for quality products, where testing together with quality design and implementation are key elements.
Desire to make things better through continuous process improvement and automation.
Very good analytical skills and ability to function at both the implementation and conceptual level.
SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Knowledge of HP testing tools like Quality Center, Load Runner and Quality Test Pro (QTP) will be an added advantage.
