Business Manager - Cards

One of our Clients is looking for Business Manager - Cards for the following role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE  
·          MBA major in Finance / Marketing (from a recognized University).
·          Ability to work under pressure.
·          Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
·          People and Team Management skills.
·          Leadership and motivational skills.
·          Minimum 7 years of banking experience of which at least 5 years should be in credit card related business.
·          Awareness of the consumer sales process, consumer banking products.
·          Good knowledge of prudential regulations, banking and audit practices and procedures.
·          In current position for at least 24 months with satisfactory performance record. (Exceptions to this 24 months requirement can be made by the Functional Head & Head of HR and should be consistent with company business needs.)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES    ·          To launch the banks Credit Card business in Pakistan.
·          Develop credit card team & ensure profitable growth through sustained acquisition numbers & by booking a quality portfolio.
·          A high level executive job that requires leadership skills to drive the most challenging consumer product i.e., cards in a highly stagnant, competitive and cluttered market like Pakistan. This requires continuous up-gradations and introduction of new initiatives, VAS and sub product types to induce more sales and to focus on existing customers for portfolio profitability and retention.
·          To manage countrywide credit card business with bottom line responsibility including cards acquisition, spend stimulation, attrition management, loyalty, expenses etc.
·          Drive acquisition numbers as per defined targets through various acquisition channels.
·          Take new initiatives of introducing innovative features and Value Added Services (VAS) for customers to increase the “spend” and take bigger share of the market.
·          Manage costs by implementing out of the box initiatives.
·          Drive Service Quality initiatives to set the benchmark for the industry
·          Liaison with Visa and other related partners.
