PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION



An MBA in Finance or a CA with a minimum of
10-15 years of managerial and professional experience in which at least 6 years must be in a significant leadership role within the corporate finance function of a service business..

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the financial control and reporting functions.
· Assess the company’s operations from a financial perspective; develop, recommend and help implement (where appropriate) cost effective approaches and operating procedures to managing the ongoing business of the company and to improving productivity across the company.
· Ensure that the EVP, Board of Directors and all levels of the company are provided with accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting that is meaningful to running the business.
· Help operating teams identify areas that are not being managed optimally and ensure success of the team and the other functions by creating a cost-oriented culture.
· Bring analytical rigour into the decision-making process.
· Develop and lead capital and operational budgeting capabilities
· Oversee Financial Compliance Issues
· Monitor compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations
· Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends
· Oversee the development and monitoring of Joint Ventures that the company may enter into and its financial implications
· Partner with the Executive Vice President – Asia to identify, analyze, negotiate and close on new investment opportunities within Asia and
· Provide written and verbal presentations to the leadership, Investment Committee(s) and other stakeholders.
· Leverage their existing relationships with the investment and financial community, e.g. major banks, investment banks, risk managers /insurers, other external advisors, etc. with a view to enabling the aggressive investment and deal flows.
· Develop, enhance and maintain strong investor relationships with industry and banking communities and with regulatory bodies such as BOI,SBP, commercial banks and the investor community
· Leadership exposure across the full array of financial functions including accounting, control, audit, financial planning & analysis is mandatory
Demonstration of a sharp view of strategies in highly regulated industries (ideally infrastructure) including drivers of value, and long-term trends to identify macro opportunities.
· An entrepreneurial mindset where the individual has the ability to be hands-on and have the ability to manage transactions at a fast pace – essentially have very strong process and control skills.
· Have a level of maturity that will allow the individual to be a strong partner to the company’s leadership, in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment and at the same time have the ability to effectively and efficiently engage with target companies and advisers.
· A strong strategic thinker with the ability to “see the big picture.”
· Bright and intelligent with strong analytical and process skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Collaborative by nature with good teamwork skills
