PRACTISING DOCTORS (08 Positions) : MMC

*MSF* (Medecins Sans Frontieres) is a private, non-profit international
humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to
population in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race,
religion, creed or political affiliation. The operations are based on our
principals of neutrality, impartiality and independence and financed by
private donors.

For its operation field in Mardan and Peshawar districts, MSF is recruiting
qualified and highly motivated candidates for the following positions.

*Contract:* Fixed term 3 months (renewable) for all the positions advertised

*Locations*: Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) and Peshawar District

*Start date:* As soon as possible

*PRACTISING DOCTORS (08 Positions) : MMC*

4 Male positions with experience in Emergency care

4 Female positions with experience in Emergency care and in Obstetric

Pre requisite: PMDC certification

* *

*Consultations*

- Checking that triage is carried out according to emergency criteria

- Referring emergencies towards the hospitalization department

- Carrying out detailed consultations of patients following and noting
observations

- Ensuring the follow up of previously hospitalized patients in the
outpatients department

- Monitoring the rational distribution of medicines at pharmacy level

- Working in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team

*Hospitalization*

- Carrying out the daily departmental rounds

- Working in collaboration with the different doctors and supervising
transfers of patients

- Checking that transfusion rules are followed in the department
(grouping, tests, etc.)

- Ensuring the management and ongoing training of the
medical/paramedical team in order to optimize the quality of care

- Managing emergencies and being on call if necessary

· Experience in their relevant fields

· Empathy with and be able to adapt the various situation which will
be encountered during the work.
