PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· Bachelors in Marketing or Stats. with at least 2 years of exposure of in the relevant role.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the research and reporting of all competitor activity to support the introduction of new product and literature into the Howdens business.
· Create, analyze and present feedback from internal events and manage ad hoc market research projects
· Play the role of an effective communicator who enjoys working in a fast moving environment and has an eye for detail.
· Possess excellent organizational skills and be confident in the use of Microsoft Office software.
· Work with the marketing team as a critical contributors to maintain the market making ability and contribute in the company's on-going success.
· Supporting execution of the Research Strategy and help to drive the business forward and inform better decision making.
· Identifying areas where customer and market research will better inform decision making, and influence business leaders.
· Manage the cascading of information within the business.
· Leading research agency briefings and selections
Managing effective relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
· Scheduling research projects to ensure meeting venues and all key stakeholders are considered.
· Reporting research findings internally if required.
· Responding to ad hoc requests for research within the business.
· Manage research budgets and prioritize projects with stakeholders.
· The role involves meetings with external agencies so there must be a flexibility to attend meetings across a variety of locations and at times outside normal office hours if necessary.
· The role involves attending research groups in the evening from time to time. This is unlikely to exceed an average of 2 evenings per month but it will vary depending on workload.
· Must have strong analytical approach.
