Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering
Experience Required: 2 year experience in RF planning and traffic/expansions department
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas: 2 year experience required on Nokia and the Executive should have done following in previous job.
- New sites design, survey, and drafts with SA vendors. This includes capacity and coverage sites planning.
- Area profiling and conducting TSS, creating TSSR after TSS.
- Drive testing
- Site integration and frequency plan implementation for new sites/expansions and city level re-tuning
- Re-design of a city/clusters/BSCs
- TCH /SDCCH re-dimensioning, HR activation/deactivation and TRX expansion (band, complex & soft) and preparation of WO for these parametric changes.
- Traffic balancing between GSM and DCS layer of the network.
- Monitoring the utilization/TCH blocking of the cells and onward escalation for expansions /dismantling.
- Network quality stats monitoring and action taken on the basis of these stats.
- Follow up with FOPS for faulty hardware replacement.
- Resolution of worst cells.
- Handling of customer complains and suggesting RF solution for the resolution of complains.
