Zonal Sales Manager


Candidate must be a graduate from a reputable university with at least 4 years experience in a similar capacity in an FMCG company.
Candidate should have the following:
  • Experience of handling multiple sales regions, assigning sales territories and taking care of all relevant queries.
  • Well versed with distribution channels and networks and must have contacts in distribution.
  • Proven track record of achieving and sustaining sales targets.
  • Strong Experience of developing and managing the sales team.
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy level and positive attitude.
Candidate would be required to do the following:
  • Develop the skills of the sales team, make pricing decisions, and reviweing all reports pertaining to product import/export.
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the all sales staff reporting to them.
  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiate and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Conducs one-on-one review with all sales staff reporting to them to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
