Area Sales Manager


Candidate must be a graduate from a reputable university with at least 3 years experience in a similar capacity in an FMCG company
Candidate must have the following:
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience of developing and managing the sales team
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High energy level and positive attitude
Candidate would be required to do the following:
  • Develop a sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by all sales staff reporting to them.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Effective supervision of their sales territory and coordination with suppliers, distributors and sales team.
  • Ensure inventory management and demand forecasting for the coming weeks and months.
