  • Must have some understanding of retail business and its performance drivers

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Report to the directors
  • Formulate and implement strategies for recruitment, performance management, succession planning, compensation, employee development and employee well being, in line with business objectives and best industry practices
  • Improve and supervise daily operations like job descriptions maintenance, payroll maintenance and HR administration with the assistance of a team
  • Proactively develop and smoothly implement organization design at the business and the department level to achieve superior performance
  • Ensure compliance to applicable laws within the HR ambit, and liaison with relevant government departments as required
  • Establish parameters for workforce planning
