self-motivated and innovative professional to lead our MIS Function as a strategic and operational head.
Profile:
- Age between 30 and 45
- Must have managed at least 2 large scale implementation projects within the last 5 years,
one of which must be for a retail operation - Excellent operational IT governance & people management skills
- Ability to understand requirements and communicate across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrable ability to manage change
- Good internal and external negotiation skills
- Market knowledge of reliable suppliers of hardware and software
- Preferably Masters degree or equivalent, alternatively, a 4 year B. Sc. with relevant experience
- Good project management skills
- Report to the Directors
- Formulate information management strategies and implement them in line with business needs
- Take charge of a new ERP implementation, working together with an external consultant
- Ensure optimum performance of the ERP to enable effective and timely decision making
- Maintain close liaison with stakeholders at all levels including directors and other business heads
- Lead a team of analysts, admins and other information systems staff
- Manage ongoing IT operations across more than 100 locations
