The Project Manager position at Folio3 requires a mixture of technical, functional, and customer skills. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate and contribute in all phases of the product development lifecycle such as design, test, delivery, and support.
Requirements:
- BS in computer science or an engineering discipline. Masters degree or Project Management Certifications a plus
- 2+ years working in an application development environment.
- Experience working on the product lifecycle of enterprise and consumer applications (not necessarily as a Project Manager)
- Good understanding of software product development lifecycle
- Expertise in desktop productivity tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
- Knowledge of enterprise as well as consumer applications
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate detailed technical product and market information at all levels
- Prior project/product management experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage web/desktop/mobile application projects from conception through development, test and deployment for offshore consulting customers.
- Ensure project release milestones and other goals are being met to spec and on time
- Define functional requirements and user interface/experience
- Make tradeoff decisions between functionality and resources/timeframes as needed
- Gather, research and analyze business requirements
- Collaborate with UI designers, developers, QA, operations and marketing to drive new features to market successfully
- Track and report on key business metrics and user behavior patterns to drive customer-centric product design decisions
- Participate in high-level technical design
- Review product documentation, test plans and training materials
