Job Description | |
Education | · B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering · Specialization in Embedded Systems will be preferred |
Experience | · 5 to 6 years of relevant experience |
Major Duties | · Design/Develop Embedded Space Middleware/Applicat ion · Develop hardware dependent low level services for Embedded Linux/Nucleus Kernel · Development of device drivers on Reference Boards/Virtual platforms · Resolve Integration issues at device driver level · Technical Support to device driver customers |
Required Skill Set | · Proficiency in C and Computer Architecture · Assembly language experience in one of the following instruction sets: ARM, MIPS, X86, PPC · Excellent Operating System Concepts · Familiar with software stacks, protocols, device drivers and system integration · Excellent communication skills both written and verbal · Ability to adhere to scheduled and team-agreed timelines · Quick learner and able to work without close direction · Strong analytical problem solving ability |
Desired Skill Set | · Device Driver programming experience · Good understanding of electronic hardware (reading schematics and component data sheets, used logic Analyzers and Oscilloscope) · Used Embedded Linux, Nucleus OS or Windows CE · Knowledge of Software Engineering Best Practices · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills · Good technical writing/documentati on skills |
