PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field with Practical experience of 8 to 10 years in a telecom utility service.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· The purpose of this job is to interface with the customers to provide Customized Performance Solutions related services, according to CPS solutions portfolio.
· Customer oriented approach is essential and delivering results within agreed timeline.
· From the CPS solutions portfolio the engineer has good understanding of the services related to his/her main competence area.
· The TA engineer works commonly in customer projects and/or in Capability Development Programs. The project can be in trial, tendering, process development & customization, content customization and data integration delivery phase.
· Knows the processes on how to handle alarms.
· Understands and capable to priorities alarms based on importance.
· Has done alarm correlation analysis on on-line db
· Knows import/export functionality for alarm correlation rules.
· Has some experience in 2G and/or 3G alarm monitoring.
· Understands and is able to create the internal workflows and processes within in operator organizations.
· Understands the interfaces to other operations functions.
· Can implement / activate AR functionality. Basic troubleshooting.
· Know the UX-processes involved in alarm correlation functionality.
· Knows/has access to OS X-files monitoring material documentation.
· Has Service monitoring knowledge on graphs and data used for service monitoring.
· Has some knowledge about how to create counters & rules.
· Can use the available tools for troubleshooting.
· Understand the basic principles on how to use service monitoring in an operator environment.
· Has deep knowledge of implemented counters, rules and graphs.
· Has deeper knowledge in Performance Management on the usage of KPIs and KPI interaction.
· Has some knowledge about counter block diagrams.
· Knows database structures.
· Can use Reporting Application for troubleshooting.
