Qualification: Bachelors or Masters in the field of IT or Electrical or Electronics from an HEC recognized university / institution.
Experience: 1-3 years experience of configuring different desktops (GNOME, KDE etc) and implementing, supporting, troubleshooting applications and systems on open source systems such as RedHat, SUSE and Debian.
Skills:
- Sound working knowledge of Linux based systems and applications
- Proficient in installing/troubleshooting OS & applications on Linux & identifying.
- Configuring various device drivers/hardware on Linux
- Sound knowledge on email servers, LTSP, LDAP, Squid, DHCP services and scripting
- Working knowledge on Linux based thin clients will be considered as Added Advantage
