We need experience Senior Database Administrator having excellent DB Skills, the person must be well familiar with latest DB Technology, well organized, and flexible that will be responsible for database design and integrity.
The candidate should have an ability to interact with staff in fast paced environment, under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic credentials and experience
· The successful candidate must have 3 to 4 years of experience in required field and understanding of application, database & integration technologies and responsible for 24/7/365 availability, scalability and incident responses.
· Implementation, maintenance, and on-going changes to software environment and its underlying platform, in conjunction with seeking out ways to improve Software database architecture.
· Schema design/modeling
· Experience of replication active/passive active/active describable
· php/java experience desirable
· Query optimization
· Administer and fine tune PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
· Work with developers on improving database organization and utilization
· Improve uptime and reliability of databases
· Manage data across servers; change manage all database requests
· Ability to complete special projects or other duties as assigned
· The candidate should have strong Leadership and Communication Skills.
Ideal candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with good programming concepts and knowledge of quality standards for software development with focus on performance & scalability.
