We are looking for Manager Consumer Business for a large Multinational Retail Company.

Reporting to: Head of SCO

Essential Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years experience in a consumer manufacturing company/OEM/FMCG is preferred.
- Middle level management experience is business development, either in sales or planning, is required.
Skills:
- University Degree in Business Management.
- Analytical with ability to break down complex information into smaller manageable frameworks – leading into actionable insights.
- Good communication skills and a good team player.
Job Purpose:
- To conceptualize and develop an end user/consumer strategy for the Company.
- Roll out of the strategy to achieve higher number of footfall and sales volume emanating from end users.
Job Dimensions:
- In-depth knowledge of market, competition, buying behaviour and trends in consumer oriented markets (consumer durables – large and small appliances, apparel, sports goods etc).
- Developing frameworks to systematically analyze and subsequently synthesize the above mentioned knowledge– enabling organization’s alignment with regards to end user.
- Execution of frameworks and strategies, remaining within the broad policy frame of the company.
Key Tasks and KPI:
o Formulation of a comprehensive and a coherent strategy for end users bringing on board all stakeholders across different functions of the company.
o Identify key categories within the company that shall drive business from this segment – identification to be followed by a product and pricing strategy for these key categories.
o Have a robust promotional plan for the end consumer business segment.
o Manage both top and bottom line for the specified segment. Develop systems and tools to track visibility with regards to it.
o Collaboration with suppliers to formulate joint promotions; working in close conjunction with offer management colleagues.
