Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
1. Experience designing an enterprise application with financial auditing, contract management, enterprise workflow, business process integration, and perhaps asset management components
2. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
3. Experience as a chief architect on inception-to-delivery of J2EE projects
4. Experience with deploying J2EE rich and/or web client applications in a high-availability, clustered environment
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Knowledge of Databases- command on SQL
7. Knowledge of application servers particularly tomcat, server and/or web applications, Java, JDBC , RMI , hibernate , XML, UML
8. Exemplary general IT knowledge (applications development, testing, deployment, operations, documentation, standards, best practices, security, hardware, networking, OS, DBMS, middleware, etc.)
9. Expertise in the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems
10. Hands on experience of Unix based Operating Systems preferably Solaris
11. Expertise and experience in lightweight, rapid development, agile methodologies.
12. Experience in estimating and measuring project velocity
13. Experience with interaction with legacy systems and phased application integration
14. Exquisite attention to detail
15. Written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication skills
