We are seeking candidates for the position of Business Development Manager at a Regional Multinational Construction Company.

Basic Function:
- The main responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to provide market information and to
represent and promote the company with the objective of securing tender opportunities in line with the company’s business plan
and in accordance with the established policies relating to project location, type of contract and nature of client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular contact with existing Clients and Consultants to enable early identification of future tender opportunities;
- Identify new Clients and Consultants for the same purpose;
- Identify business partners suitable to meet the company’s requirements for Joint Venture projects;
- Prepare forward marketing strategy and targets – short, medium and long term – for senior management review and approval;
- Prepare and maintain database records of future projects;
- Co-ordination, production and written input to pre-qualification documents and tender submissions where there is a qualification section such as in two stage tenders;
- Co-ordination, production and written input to corporate presentations to Clients and Consultants;
- Co-ordination, production and written input to marketing literature (Capability Statements, Mail-shots, Marketing Letters, Project Sheets);
- Design, implement and monitor a customer satisfaction programme.
