POSITION TITLE Assistant Manager Compliance

LOCATION Karachi

ORGANIZATIONAL DETAIL Microfinance Institution

GENDER Male/Female

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE

o Post graduate degree in Law, Finance or Business Administration.

o 3 – 5 years of experience with legal and compliance department of some local bank.

o A strong understanding of the financial regulations, especially in microfinance businesses, as well as knowledge of financial products and practices

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Continued development and management of a number of regional compliance functions.
  • Management of compliance staff.
  • Interact with the business lines and other divisions in the organization..
  • Manage compliance matters including reporting to the authorities and Associations.
  • Monitoring of day-to-day controls, reviewing and establishing internal rules, and giving compliance-related instructions to other departments
  • Handle legal matters.
