Position Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the design, development and enhancements of web applications and corporate websites.
· Participates in requirement analysis, design and technical management.
· Determine standards and style for design capabilities to ensure a high level of design consistent with current standards and trends.
· Website development and design strategy session participation and coordination.
· Collaborate with project manager on web team assignments, work flow and scheduling.
· Follow quality control system.
· Put together regular status reports
Job Specifications:
· Strong design background in all facets of web design including a prove understanding if information architecture, UI design, page hierarchy.
· Strong layout and typography skills.
· An understanding of the design implications of standards-based HTML, XHTML and CSS is required.
· Experience with the design of websites that feature areas of rich dynamic content (i.e. database-driven news articles, calendar events, galleries) in public and private portals (through a personalized UI).
· The designer will need to leverage, and contribute to, existing graphic assets and brand identities in the creation of customized design solutions.
· Should be comfortable discussing site architecture and must have the ability to work within an existing design framework.
· Must be able to handle multiple projects at a time and show a willingness to accommodate design feedback and revisions.
· Must have basic knowledge of JSP, XML, ASPX.
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with work experience of more then one year, having sound knowledge on the following technologies.

· CSS
· Adobe Photoshop
· Flash
