Position Responsibilities:
· Assisting and Co-ordinating in tasks as assigned by Linux Consultant.
· Willing to travel to corporate clients.
· Willing to be placed as Resident Engineer in corporate clients.
· Assist in configuring Linux environment.
· Maintaining and monitoring basic services such as email, file and printing
services, domain issues and etc.
· Ensuring proper and consistent service availability to all users in corporate
LAN.
· Giving desktop support to users within the organization.
· Resolving hardware and software issues..
Skills:
· Good communication skills.
· Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems,application and
tools.
· Basic knowledge of networking technologies.
· A good understanding of TCP/IP.
· Basic scripting techniques.
· Able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Qualification:
· Minimum BCS with additional certification on LINUX Systems Administration.
· At least one year experience in Linux platform.
· A+ or Linux certification will be an additional advantage.
