PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 10 years exposure with at least 5 years experience in an FMCG multi site environment.
· GCC Exposure - Preferred
· Advance knowledge of financial, accounting theory and financial and statistical modeling techniques.
· Strong managerial, planning, organization and project management skills.
· Ability to apply various financial skills and knowledge to solve business problems and enhance decision making. Strong communications and presentation skills.
· Motivated and have high energy levels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Works closely with the Head of Financial Planning to develop and establish broad business plans, strategies and policies that significantly improve company profitability.
· Conduct financial analysis, planning, forecasting, capital budgeting, decision-support, and reporting.
· Provide analytical support for departmental functions including development of the long-term financial plan, annual operating plan budget, capital project analysis, monthly forecasts, and performance analysis.
· Develop knowledge and relationships with selected business units to guide plan process and understand planning issues
· Reviews new business proposals, identifies issues, risk and opportunities. Executes financial due diligence and explains ramifications of findings and recommendations for project progress
· Identify cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities to improve current processes, and provide more meaningful information to key decision makers
· Identifies and communicates risk areas and emerging trends through research and benchmarking and develops recommendations to senior management
· Prepare insightful presentations for senior management to concisely summarize performance targets and progress toward initiatives by individual business units
· Provides coaching, direction and leadership to team members in order to achieve business results.
