Etimaad Qatar L.L.C. is looking for an Estimation Engineer for its newly established MEP Projects Division. The incumbent shall have adequate experience in making Construction and Maintenance Proposals (techno-commercial) in Commercial and Industrial Sector. The right candidate must have: · Thorough understanding of the applicable codes and standards for MEP works. · Willingness to pay regular visits to sites and attend pre-bid meetings. · Ability to carry out material take-off from Drawings and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for getting material prices. · Ability to prepare sub-contract packages to obtain the quotations from sub-contractors/vendors. · Administration capability to manage subcontractor(s) valuation and can develop good quality comparative analyses for management review and decision making. · Ability to prepare techno-commercial proposals as per the ITB requirements. · Experience in carrying out selling breakdown analysis for direct/indirect costs including workmanship, materials, overheads, and bank charges. · Experience to carry out analysis of directly executed works to include in direct cost mainly material costs, labor costs, and accessories costs, all in relation to the contract BOQ. · Good English communication skills. · Drive for continuous improvement to contribute, in an effective manner, in the development and improvement of Company’s bidding system. · Ability to ensure accuracy of data being fed into the system in order to generate accurate reports. · Experience of managing construction and maintenance norms for updating them continuously. · Experience of developing project plan and resource requirements in accordance with the bid package(s). The ability to integrate plan with estimation software. |
