Certification(s): Professional (Cisco) Certifications - CCNP/CCIP, CCNA. CCIE (Written) will have lead
Experience Required: Four years plus, preferably in GSM SP or related business environment (vendors)
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
- Excellent skills in IP Networks having experience of Design, Implementation and Operations..
- Good working experience of IP routing protocols, specially MPLS, BGP & OSPF is required, with strong Telco/Data Centerbackground.
- Excellent hands on experience on high end Cisco routers (CRS-1, GSR 12xxx, OSR 76xx, 72xx) Switches (65xx, 45xx, 37xx, 35xx, 29xx), Data Centre (Nexus 2/5/7K).
- Manage, operate and optimize network topology & services using Cisco 76xx, 72xx, 45xx, 37xx, 35xx & 29xx equipment.
- In depth knowledge of GSMA architecture and advanced IP technologies e.g. IPoDWDM, Carrier & Metro Ethernet.
- Good working knowledge on NMS platforms, e.g., HP Openview, Solarwinds, CA Spectrum.
- Configure Cisco ACS, RADIUS, TACACS+, Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP), and 802.1x protocols.
- Cisco certifications required, CCNP, CCNA.
- Good interpersonal, presentation & communication skills.
