Competence Requirements:
Education:
Diploma/ Bachelor Degree Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) and Post Graduate Degree in
Business/Management (Preferred Not Essential)
Experience:
15+ years of overall experience on oil & gas Industry’s complete Supply Chain Cycle. This should include
minimum 3 years of Middle east experience and 5 years in the capacity of a Manager.
Language ability:
Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of Hindi and other Languages Arabic will be advantageous.
HSE training: HSE Induction though not essential
Special skills:
Commercial acumen and managerial skills with high level of integrity
Good knowledge of systems, procedures
Effective Communicator, strong interpersonal skills and team player
Knowledge of oil & gas industry

Job Description / Responsibilities
Accountable for the functions of complete Supply chain cycle from planning, supplier identification, strategic
Sourcing, Client Approval, Expediting & inspection co-ordination, & final delivery of Materials at site and
management of stores. And also accountable for MIS/KPI reports of procurement store.
Identifying and developing cost effective vendors at international and domestic level
Sound knowledge on letter of credit, importing procedures, local customs, clearance and logistics, incoterms, ISO
Good exposure to oil and gas materials management, specifications and systems
Dynamic, punctual, self motivated and resourceful style, Self starter with a hard working approach. Should be a
well organized. Processing strong negotiation skills, purchase ethics and team building.
Hands on experience in ERP systems and procedures
Familiar in governing global/local organizational standards like PDO, BP, BG, Shell, CIPS
Have a high regard to quality and work efficiency with initiative and sense of responsibility, strong leadership
and analytical skills and ability to relate to people across organizational horizons for successful execution of
projects.
Identify and analyze major spent categories of expense/materials. Initiate and finalize rate contract for repetitive
purchased items/consumables etc.
