Description
Work closely with project Development, Management & Support team and take responsibility for writing and editing documentation as required. Perform the role of primary resource for planning, coordinating, producing and managing project documentation for all aspects of the project's life cycle.
Responsibilities
· Analyze, interpret, and convert highly technical data to a format that non-technical personnel will understand
· Create and maintain project documentation and project management materials such as Weekly and Monthly Status Reports/Presentations
· Create and maintain technical documentation such as System Requirements Specifications, Engineering Plans, etc
· Adhere to the documentation configuration management process
· Convert raw engineering data into technical or non-technical documentation
· Support graphics and proposal preparations
Required Skills
- 4-6 years experience in technical writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of MS Project
- Superior writing and grammar skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Organized, detailed-oriented, and able to perform well in a deadline driven environment
- Experience writing content for complex IT projects
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and their supporting documentation
- Good knowledge and understanding of difference between various recorded/live Media Delivery Protocols, Media Formats, Media Codecs etc.
- Knowledge and/or experience of tools and third party online streaming services used for recorded/live Multimedia Content Development and Delivery e.g. Microsoft Expression Encoder, Windows Media Server, Microsoft Silverlight Streaming Service etc.
- Knowledge about tools and services used for Multimedia Content Protection e.g. DRM, Play Ready etc. will be plus
- Technical background in engineering, software, and/or IT
